DescriptionThe ground is of red wool; the design consists of diagonal bands forming lozenges, each enclosing a candelabra plant motif; the motifs are woven with green, red, yellow, brown and light blue wool. The design shows Byzantine influence. Evidently from the same garment as 11.1416.
