DescriptionLight green and light violet stripes, the violet stripes are detailed with green, the green ones with black and white. Down the front are two rows of brocade buttons. The back has been ripped out. Worn by Mr. Matthew Ridley, a maternal ancestor of the donors, who died in 1789. See notes on 17.1440-17.1445.
