U.S. AIR FORCE THUNDERBIRDS

The United States Air Force Thunderbirds are the nation's busiest precision flying team. First organized in 1953, the Thunderbirds have performed in all of the 50 states, in over 40 foreign countries, before more than 85 million spectators. The globetrotting schedule has earned the team the title of "America's Ambassadors in Blue." Permanently based at Nellis Air Force Base near Las Vegas, Nevada, the Thunderburds perform their breathtaking maneuvers in colorful red-white-blue McDonnell Douglas F-4E Pantoms.
