DescriptionWall hanging made from black wool ground cloth appliqued with wool cloth and embroidered with cotton threads in a range of colors. One pair of figures on a pink dog sled on the far left appears to be running diagonally toward white igloo in upper right corner. An opposing pair of figures on blue sled appear to pursue blue dog in lower left corner. A purple ulu (or knife) appears between this blue dog and a yellow musk ox (quiviut) in lower left corner; a yellow ulu (or knife) appears above blue dog pulling sled on left. Wavy vertical bands of opening stitching in blue, yellow, red, and green fill ground. Lines of stem stitching form inner borders in yellow, blue and red, and there is an outer border of spaced diagonal stiches in a range of colors. Signed by artist in syllabics,
