LA POSTA, restaurant at the corner of the town plaza in old Mesilla, whose adobe walls are associated with many historical events of the Southwest. Mesilla was the capital of Mexican Territory purchased by the United States in 1853 under the Godsden Purchase and it is said the treaty was signed in this building.
