DescriptionBand of ornament consisting of a nude male figure in the center of the band and vines growing from jars woven with light neutral colored linen and dark brown wool. The nude figure and the vine suggest that this is a Dionysiac scene. The shape of the band suggests that it is a fragment of a shoulder band (clavus).
