DescriptionA band of tapestry with an interlacing design woven with violet wool and light neutral linen. On one side is sewed a strip of light neutral colored linen; The interlaced motifs resemble those in late Roman and early Christian mosaics. one border encloses ovals alternating with rectangular motifs and the other encloses lozenges alternating with circular motifs.
