DescriptionA fragment of a tapestry band with two leaves of which the one on the right is torn, and a putto in the middle carrying a basket that he extends towards the right. The border on one side of the band shows a row of tree motifs framed by niches. The ground in the middle of the band is in red wool and the figures are in neutral linen; and green, red and brown wool. The ground of the border is in neutral linen and the tree motifs are in green, red and brown wool. Design shows Roman influence.
