Picacho Peak, Arizona


PICACHO PEAK, scene of the only battle of the Civil War fought in Arizona territory, may be seen from Highway 84 just 40 miles northwest of Tucson. The prominent desert plant is Saguaro, the bloom of which is the state flower of Arizona.
