Pyramid Lake, Nevada

JUST one hour from Reno is Pyramid Lake, discovered in 1843 by Captain John Fremont. Twenty years later it was declared part of the Piute Indian Reservation. Giant trout ranging up to 64 pounds and prehistoric fish add fame to Nevada's unique lake.
