THE famous White House Cliff dwelling, occupying a niche in a sheer 600-foot red sandstone wall of Canyon de Chelly National Monument, 125 miles north of Holbrook, Ariz. Over 300 individual ruins of prehistoric Indian cliff dwellings exist in this one monument.
