DescriptionBeadwork Glengarry hat made of dark blue velvet with red silk ribbon trim. White beadwork floral sprigs on sides and top are bordered by straight white lines and red zigzagging lines. The blossoms and large leaves are made of strands of clear and opaque white beads sewn to shaped pieces of paper, which are applied or sewn to the surface of the dark blue velvet. The stems, smaller leaves, and white and red beadwork borders have been applied directly to the surface of the cloth. The hat is lined with white glazed cotton cloth.
