DescriptionBluish green velvet woven with a large symmetrical design of conventionalized forms. A large part of this design which is a variation of the leaf and pomegranate design, was originally woven with metal thread, made of thin strips of metal wound on yellow silk. The metal has almost entirely disappeared showing the brilliant orange satin ground, partly covered with worn yellow silk. Darned with red silk.
