DescriptionThe ground of cream-white damask echoes the design of pots of flowering plants, grotesquely drawn and proportioned, which is woven with tarnished gold thread (thin metal wound on silk), and yellow, green, blue, cream-white, and pinkish orange silk. Very much worn, torn, and cut on the folds.
