U.S.S. LLOYD THOMAS (DD-764) Named for Lieutenant (junior grade) Lloyd Thomas, a naval aviator who lost his life while engaged in the battle of Midway. U.S.S. Lloyd Thomas carries a crew of 250 enlisted men and 14 officers and is primarily engaged in anti-submarine warfare.
