217728 - U.S. Armored Cruiser Tennessee. Displacement, about 16,000 tons; speed, 22 knots; 23,000 H.P. Length, 504 1/2 ft.; beam, 73 ft.; draught, 26 1/2 ft. Crew of 945 men (as flagship, 990 men).. Carries four 10 in. guns; sixteen 6 in. guns and 28 smaller guns. Four 21 in. torpedo tubes. Armor belt, 5-3 ins. amidships; 9-5 ins. on turrets, 7 ins. on barbettes. Completed, 1907. Cost, $6,154,456.
