DescriptionGround: neutral violet silk, much worn. Design: almost completely covering ground, resembles Spanish-Arabic wall decoration; woven with neutral yellow, neutral green, blue, reddish violet, and a little white silk.
ProvenanceProbably acquired in Spain by Adolfo Loewi, Venice; 1928, sold by Loewi to the MFA for $2745 [see note 1]. (Accession Date: June 7, 1928)
