DescriptionSquare of thin silk, loosely and irregularly woven. Design: center, orange dots closely covering dark brown ground, surrounded by narrow band of conventional white figures and wider band of dark brown with white "palms" alternating with orange plant forms. Outer border with dark brown vine on a white ground. Design executed by printing with reserve (wax?) and subsequently dying white silk first orange, then printing with reserve on orange, and dying dark brown.
