DescriptionTextile fragment with gold ground, gold weft (gilded skin wound on yellow silk, worn and tarnished) covering red silk warp; design of arabesques forming rows of arches woven with green, blue, and white silk weft and red warp (satin). The white silk has largely disappeared.
