DescriptionArm bracelet. This work re-interprets the traditional Tefillin (a ritual object that is worn by men during morning prayers) from a feminine perspective. The silver shin initial of Shaddai, Almighty, usually appears on the black boxes of the Tefillin that go on the man’s arm and forehead.

InscriptionsThe text written in the parchment scroll refers to the commandment to wear Tefillin (phylacteries) from biblical verses (Deteuronomy, 6:8): “And you shall bind them as a sign upon your arm". These verses are repeated daily in the Shema` morning and evening prayer.
