ADMIRAL A.G.H.W. MOORE.


Rear-Admiral A.G.H.W. Moore, C.V.O., C.B., First saw service as a sub-lieutenant in the Monarch in the Egyptian War of 1882, and was appointed in 1907 Naval Assistant to the First Sea Lord, Chief of Staff of the Home Fleet the following year, and from 1909 to 1912 Director of Naval Ordnance and Torpedoes. In the latter year he became Third Sea Lord.
