DescriptionFragment. Ground: irregular warp twill on satin, warp and weft light neutral greenish yellow silk. Design: symmetrically arranged palmettes on slender stems and a small lion woven (lancé) with neutral yellowish green and a little white silk with a pair of birds and the center of one palmette woven (broché) with worn metal thread (probably gilded skin wound on linen).
