DescriptionThe alphabet is repeated several times, with Arabic numerals, and "How Pleasant tis to see Kindred and friends agree. Lucy Bateman born August the 9 1797 she wrought this in the 14 year of her age" at one side two small trees and an urn marked B.F. Floral border on top and sides only. Worked in cross stitch and satin stitch with blue, green, black, orange and pinkish orange silk.
