Below the left knee is the Garter with the inscription, Honi-soit-qui-mal-y-pense, in choice diamonds, which formerly belonged to the late Duke of Cambridge and bequeathed by him to Prince Edward. The Tudor hat contains the plumes of the Prince of Wales.
