DescriptionGround: entirely cut away. Warps: brown wool. Design: motif from tapestry band such as in 37.380; of brown and dark blue wool and cream cotton. Cream ram with patterned ribbons flying from its collar; placed on brown rectangle (15.5 x 10 cm); edged on four sides with narrow cream stripe. On top, left, and bottom of piece is needle-weaving border (2 to 3 cm. wide) of cream on brown, in conventional floral motif. In top and bottom left corners is square medallion of brown and cream on blue.
