DescriptionWorked on unbleached heavy linen with silks now all faded to neutral brownish gray shades; divided into horizontal lines, alphabet letters, and Arabic numerals and one line of motifs including candle snuffer, key, pear, tulip, crown, and bird; in lower half inscription: "Bertha Auguste, Albertine Adelheid, Morit Carl Döhler, KAROLINE. . ." Stitches: cross.
