DescriptionMost of sampler filled with sprays of flowers worked largely in padded satin and eyelet stitched with white linen with some details in drawn work stitches, along left quarter of sampler vertical bands showing variety of drawn work stitches, at lower edge pair of dogs flanking flower-filled basket, bird and two baskets worked with polychrome silks in cross stitch; on top edge two blocks of needlepoint lace; on right edge four blocks of colored glass bead work.
