DescriptionA train to go with presentation dress 50.3143a-b and worn by Mrs. Montgomery Sears at her presentation at the Court of St. James, June 1902; narrow at top, attached to shoulder of dress with big hooks, flaring to bottom, pale ice blue satin with brocaded design woven with gold and silver thread of large-scale lilies, brocaded design enhanced by embroidery with gold and silver colored rhinestones, border design all around train of lilies embroidered in part with green and white silk appliqué, with outlines and details embroidered with pearls, rhinestones, and glass beads, lined throughout with cloth of silver.
