DescriptionCircular medal of Napoléon (1769-1821) for the schools of pharmacy.

Obverse: A chemist's retort at center being wrapped by a snake infront of trees and a rock wall; inscribed at edge "AU COULAGEMENT DE L'HUMANITE", below "BRENET", and in exergue "DENON DIREXIT".

Reverse: Wreath at edge; uninscribed at center.
