DescriptionFaience (tin-glazed earthenware.) The charger is decorated in cobalt blue on a white tin-glazed ground. The border is painted with a pattern of stylized foliage incorporating masks composed of a scull emerging from strapwork.
ProvenanceBy 1996, with Galerie Verneuil-Bac, Paris; 1997, sold by Galerie Verneuil-Bac and purchased by the MFA with funds given by Abe Covo in memory of his beloved wife Jackie Covo. (Accession date: March 26, 1997)
