DescriptionCircular medal. Stamped on rim "BRONZE".

Obverse: Figure of winged angel with sword, in profile looking to proper right; inscribed at proper right "1914/1918", at proper left "MCMXXV", and in exergue "ANTOINE BOURDELLE". Artist's monogram possibly at proper right.

Reverse: View of a pillared crypt with flanking winged figures and a pyramidal superstructure in front of a sunburst; inscribed above "HARTMANNSWILLERKOPF", inscribed on crypt "ICI REPOSENT DES SOLDATS MORTS POUR LA FRANCE", below pyramid "ANTOINE BOURBELLE scv[ ]", on sunburst "CEM PERP", and under superstructure "ROBERT DANIS ARCTE ANTOINE BOURDELLE SCVR". Artist's monogram possibly at proper right.
Marks Stamped on rim "BRONZE".
