Description1982, Jeannie Willward, Norfolk; June 3, 1982, sold by Willward to Boyd. Long oblong, design 'a pivot' with literal batwing shape central figure. Finely woven, green selvedges,mosaic borders with self fringes, 4 1/2" floral and cartouche?border around four sides; leaf patterns. Predominantly redorange w/ lt. blue, green, lavendar, black, yellow. Boyd notes attribute "Berrus" ('illegible' woven signature symbol in center). Cloth tape label sewn on reverse, in upper proper right corner (diag. opposite corner of accession label). First four numbers are stamped "95108", last four numbers hand written with quill-type pen "1093".
