DescriptionPublished by the artist. Twelve coated brass plates were sent to twelve different locations. Each person was asked to place the plate outside, below or above the earth, from March 21 through June 20, 1987. The initial patterns made on the plate by springtime rain, temperature shifts, sun and wind, were etched further into the plate, deepening the imprint already made. [PB from Chicago, Illinois, wrote: "I'm afraid to tell you that the post office lost the plate."]
