DescriptionPierced rim in rather coarse basket-weaving with three reserves of solid paste and scalloped edge. Ornamental border of blue & gold on rim, reserves & center; flowers on rim, birds in center.
Marks Marked in light blue underglaze with a stork, for The Hague.
InscriptionsOn the underside, a small rectangular paper label with '1866' in black ink.
Another label, partially destroyed, with illegible writing.
ProvenanceHelena Woolworth McCann (b. 1878 - d. 1938), Syosset, NY; by descent to her children, Constance (Mrs. Joseph V.) McMullan, Helena (Mrs. Winston F. C.)
