DescriptionOval basket with hinged clam-shell style top attached with ivory hinge and closure at center front. Carved wooden handle attached at sides of basket with ivory bolts. Made of coiled pine needes and raffia with sewn sides, and set with oval scrimshaw panel depicting a town scene, at top. Signed "CLT" Interior of basket signed on underside of scrimshaw panel "Sandi Silverman March 30, 1984"
