DescriptionCreamy white cylindrical body with polychrome Asian-inspired decoration of a bird, possibly added in the Netherlands. Molded beading around edges of shoulder, neck, and domed cover. Molded acanthus leaves on spout. Handles formed by two entwined, reeded bands ending in four forget-me-nots. Knob in the form of a morning glory, white for-get-me-not, and a leaf. Bought at Marblehead by Sarah Gooll Crowninshield (1810-1880).
