DescriptionPainted by Emile Lessore (1805–1874). Lead-glazed cream-colored earthenware, painted in polychrome enamels, brown rim. Scene of Venus in the center, surrounded by sea gods and nymphs, putti, and dolphins. Circular foot ring has two drilled holes for hanging.
