DescriptionPieced four patch top with notches at bottom for bed posts. Top of wide strips of brown and white roller printed florals with machined grounds alternating with wide strips of pieced four patch and plain squares in a range of printed cottons (including a few late 18th-century block prints, woven stripes and plains, discharge printed indigo cottons, and many small scale roller printed patterns). Backed with pieces of white or unbleached cotton plain weave (muslin) that range from 24 inches to 28 inches wide. Edge binding of broewn and red stipped floral print. Quilted in a chevron pattern with approxiamtely 8 stitches per inch.
