Notes:
[1] According to Anna Randall Taudien, the candlestick had been in her family since the 1650s, purchased on the English art market by her ancestor Edward Winslow, Governor of Plymouth County.

The MFA cannot substantiate this claim. Similarly, the stylistic characteristics of the candlestick post-date it to Governor Winslow's 1620 voyage, according to MFA curator T. Albainy.
