DescriptionPair with 14.902a-b. The compressed circular salts, formed from sheet, rest on three cast legs, with shells at the top and an applied cast shell forming the foot. The salt has an applied, flutted rim. The two glass inserts, one original, with a star cut into the base, are chipped around the rim.

On underside, maker's mark DH, an R above and an H below (Grimwade 472); lion passant; date letter I; leopard's head crowned.
