DescriptionThe cup rests on a flaring hexafoil base with molded lower rim. One face of the base is engraved with the crucifixion. The baluster stem has three angels' heads applied to the central knop. The cup has a flat base, slightly flaring sides, and a gilt interior. The cup is composed of three pieces which are screwed together: a foot, knop, and bowl. The foot is formed from a single piece with an applied molded wire rim formed disk below the threaded post. The knop is cast in two pieces, with applied cast putti's heads. There are traces of gilding on the knop. The bowl is raised. The surface of the bowl and marks are worn.
