DescriptionThe candlesticks are in the form of an invertyed trumpet bell, with a smooth spreading base rising to a straight cylindrical nozzle. At the middle of the stem is a drip pan in the shape of a plain disk with an incised line around the edge. A simple molded band and a small rim around the socket are the only other decorative details. The flaring base of the candlestick is raised with a wire applied to the rim for strenght. The stem and nozzle are formed of two seamed sections with drawn molded wire applied to the juncture of the base, top rim, and mid-section. The drip pan is formed of a single sheet. There are traces of gilding near the edges of the nozzle
