DescriptionRound box with cover of strung glass beads (called sablé) held together with looping stitches. Pink silk interior, green silk base. White ground with green balloon with design of two caryatids, with two figures in basket. Balloon used in ascent of Darroussin and Ballet at Bagnols on 18 August 1785. Good condition.
