DescriptionThe lozenge-shaped tray has deep sloping sides and an undulating rim. It is painted with a pastoral scene after Boucher that includes a man playing a guitar for a woman who holds a book of music. Two sheep like at the edge of the rock on which the couple sits. Sprigs of plychrome flowers are painted on the interior sides, and a scalloped gilt band decorates the rim.
