DescriptionThe lemony-chartreuse body of this vase is cinched approximately one-third up and forms a spheroid bottom, continuing straight to form a slight flare at the top. Internally decorated with evenly-spaced blue threads which spread out at the lip. The bottom of the body is overlaid in orange and drawn up into an irregular edge. The vase sits on a flat amethyst slab, which is incised on its side in script Schneider, preceded by an amphora. The entire vase is treated with acid to give it a matte appearance.
