Obverse: Profile bust of Leonello d'Este looking to the proper right; inscribed at edge "MARCHIO ESTENSIS LEONELLVS" [words separated by olive branches between].
Reverse: Two nude figures, aged and young, holding baskets of olive branches above and flanked by rain clouds over covered vessels (Isaiah XIV.3); inscribed at edge "OPVS·PISANI·PICTORIS".
