DescriptionModelled by Peter Reinicke after Boucher's "Les Delices de L'Enfance" (1742). A Chinese family: Mother seated, in robe decorated with "Indian flowers" (Indianische Blumen) over a puce undergarment; at her right a child in robe with iron-red floral pattern and blue trousers, at her left on her knee another child with parasol, rose robe with turquoise; shaped base with applied polychrome flowers; mark: underglazed blue crossed swords underneath base.
