DescriptionThis necklace in the Revivalist style is part of a coral suite which also includes a brooch and earrings. The carved coral elements depict Bacchus, rams and female figures which are connected by delicate gold leaves and wirework.
This coral and gold brooch in the Revivalist style features a carved head of Bacchus surrounded by delicate gold leaves and grapes.

Marks
There are two marks on the necklace located on the tongue of clasp, one is a rectangle with three symbols inside. They look to be an N, head of Mercury and a 6. The second is a rectangle with the letters FG. The other pieces in the suite have the same marks but are not as clear in the impression.The marks on the brooch are on the pin bar and, the marks on the earrings are on the ear piece loop.
