DescriptionDress of piña cloth; magenta with fine white line check; high, round neck; three-quarter length sleeves with tight undersleeves; greatest skirt fullness at back; sleeves and skirt trimmed with bands of puffed piña bound with magenta silk cloth; magenta silk lining; separate magenta silk underskirt with pocket in right front seam; dress hooked down front; white tulle ruching around neck and sleeve edges; worn by Mary Francis Cook of Hyde Park, Mass.; piña brought home by her father, a sea captain; worn and stained under arms.
