DescriptionBrown silk satin brocaded with polychrome silks in large-scale fruit and flower motifs. Robe à la Turque: square neckline drops to attached stomacher with covered button closure between scrolling bands of trimmed ruching; fullness pleated from back of neck to hem at front line; sack (Watteay) back, polychrome fringe at back of neck; short fitted sleeves with double asymmetrical trimmed ruffles.

Underskirt: fullness pleated into purple linen waistband; plush finished cording on ruffle at front hemline; brown linen upper back and sides.
